The Quinta da Ria Golf Course and its sister course, Quinta de Cima, are part of the Quinta da Ria Resort, located near Tavira in the Eastern Algarve.
The Quinta da Ria Golf Course is located by the ocean, on a cliff overlooking the most beautiful inlet of the Rio Formosa Natural Park. The absence of building sites and excellent greenkeeping make Quinta da Ria a wonderful golf course to play and enjoy spectacular views.
The Quinta da Ria Golf Course is a Par 72, comprising two loops of nine holes, each loop with two Par 5, five Par 4 and two Par 3 holes. Five lakes were strategically built along the golf course, specifically near greens 5, 10 and 14. Hole 16, a Par 5, is played between the two biggest lakes. The green of the 17th hole is bordered by one of these lakes, where you can find an island with a variety of birdlife.
The undulating greens of the Quinta da Ria Golf Course are well protected by bunkers. The course has retained the typical features of the Algarve landscape, being home to over 300 olive, cork and carob trees.
